Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, including salary packaging options. Additionally, our employees enjoy 17.5% leave loading, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Employment Navigator to join our Mylestones team in Teneriffe. In this dynamic role, you will coordinate participant intakes, assess needs and suitability for services, and develop job plans to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate participant intakes, ensuring timely referrals and commencements meet contractual obligations.
- Conduct assessments of participants' needs and suitability for services, ensuring compliance with Disability Support Services (DSS) eligibility requirements.
- Develop initial job plans, addressing barriers to employment and ensuring positive outcomes for participants.
- Liaise with schools and disability employment organizations to build relationships and secure referrals.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role working with people with disabilities.
- Ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and provide solutions to complex problems.
- Working knowledge of Disability Employment Services (DES) Eligibility Criteria.
- Excellent communication, networking, and rapport-building skills.
