Finance Business Partner/Management Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team. This role plays a vital part in delivering expert financial analysis, overseeing operational budget management, and providing strategic advice to support informed decision-making across the organisation.

About the Role
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting, analysis, and forecasts that support service delivery, cost control, and organisational sustainability.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, embedding strong financial discipline and ensuring compliance with regulations while enabling Council's broader objectives.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor-level qualifications in Business or Commerce (Accounting).
  • Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA Australia) or Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia).
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, management accounting, and cost control in an operational context.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
