Blood Specimen Collector

Your primary responsibility will be to execute routine operational tasks, encompassing patient reception, data entry, inventory management, and maintaining a clean work environment.
You will also be responsible for collecting high-quality blood and non-blood specimens from clients of our pathology services, utilizing various collection techniques as necessary.
This role demands the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, prioritizing workload to meet deadlines, and adhering to established guidelines and policies.
Key Competencies- Demonstrated proficiency in phlebotomy, utilizing diverse collection techniques on a wide range of patient demographics.
- Able to work efficiently and responsibly, with or without supervision.
- Committed to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Able to participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource practices.
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology Assistance or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Ability to detail any visa conditions if not a permanent resident of Australia or Australian citizen.
