Clinical Leadership Opportunity in Surgical Ward

We are seeking an experienced Associate Nurse Unit Manager to lead our surgical ward at Knox Private Hospital.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will have the opportunity to drive clinical excellence and improve patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and quality care.
With a diverse range of specialties, including gynaecological, general surgical, and plastics, you will be working in a dynamic and enthusiastic environment that values teamwork and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with VMO partners
- Provide clinical operational direction for the unit
- Be accountable for the effective daily management of human, financial, and material resources
- Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
Selection Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable)
- Sound clinical knowledge
- 3 years of clinical experience
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive role modeling behaviours
- Excellent customer service focus, time management, and prioritization
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
