Job Overview

As an expert in counselling, you will be responsible for developing, improving and delivering a program, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. You will work to provide a high-quality, student-centric experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and conduct face-to-face teaching and student engagement sessions, learning materials.
  • Develop learning materials, including study guides, webinars, and assessment instructions for assigned subjects.
  • Provide study assistance to students via face-to-face, online or email.
  • Encourage student engagement in their studies.
  • Mark student assessments according to assessment and moderation policies.
  • Identify and liaise with students at risk, establishing individual learning plans as needed.
  • Maintain subject sites on the Learning Management System.
Requirements

About You

  • Master's qualification or higher in counselling, psychology or similar fields (PhD preferred).
  • At least 3 years of postgraduate experience working as a counsellor, psychologist, therapist or similar positions.
  • Experience teaching at a tertiary level is desired but not necessary.
  • Passion for teaching and passing on knowledge to the next generation.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and administer the successful delivery of tertiary subjects.
  • Eligibility for membership of the Australian Counselling Association.
