Speech Pathologist Position

The ECU Speech Pathology program is delivered in modern, state-of-the-art facilities on the Joondalup campus. It is part of the Allied Health Discipline, which includes Occupational Therapy, Paramedicine, and Dietetics.

We are seeking a dynamic speech pathologist with relevant clinical and teaching experience to join our team. The appointee will be an integral member of the Speech Pathology team and participate in the discipline's speech pathology program, teaching, research, and scholarly activities.

To be successful in this role, you will have at least 5 years of postgraduate experience as a Certified Practising Member with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligible for). You will also have prior experience in developing and delivering research-informed teaching in tertiary education and/or within a speech pathology or related context.

A developing research track record, including research outputs, is essential. You will also demonstrate the ability to collaborate with community stakeholders, including those from industry and with lived experience.

Interpersonal skills, including teamwork and leadership, communication, and negotiating skills, are highly valued. A completed PhD or undertaking a higher degree in an appropriate field will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Benefits and remuneration for this full-time position include $80,938 - $108,498 (Level A) or $113,918 - $134,596 (Level B), plus a 17% University superannuation contribution. We support a work-life balance for staff and offer flexible working arrangements.
