Role Overview

The City of Bunbury is seeking a Community Engagement and Smart Systems Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving real change in our community by balancing frontline community-based education and enforcement duties with analysis of parking and surveillance data.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a salary range of $72,359 - $79,091 gross per annum, depending on knowledge and experience. You will work closely with our Smart Parking partners, WA Police, and our Rangers & Emergency Management team to ensure our systems align with policies, legislation, and changes in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the smart parking system to ensure it is operational and identify opportunities for expansion and change.
  • Support the enforcement of policy and guidelines, and educate the community on their rights and responsibilities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • A proven track record of conflict resolution and customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • A good understanding of project management principles and practices.
