About This Role
  • This role involves overseeing the supervision and day-to-day direction and leadership of drivers.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Ensure timely departures for all shifts and changeovers.
  2. Minimise service disruptions by following policies regarding vehicle breakdowns, absenteeism, accidents or road closures.
  3. Provide support and communication to drivers on the road via radio and telephone, as well as face-to-face guidance.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in coordinating, managing and/or scheduling operations across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and remotely.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage workloads in a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
  • Willingness to work a rotating roster (4am - 12am).
  • Ability to gain police clearance.
  • Mandatory Victorian driver's licence.
  • Prior experience within Transport, Defence or Manufacturing sectors highly desirable.
  • Tertiary qualification in related field (desirable).
