Job Opportunity

Seeking experienced lawyers to join our dynamic team in Canberra or Melbourne, working on significant projects and general commercial advisory work for Australian Government clients.

Job Description

As a member of our team, you will provide expert legal advice and support the achievement of Australian Government requirements and objectives. You will work across Commonwealth procurement, commercial contracting, intellectual property, and technology matters, providing corporate advisory services including corporate law, governance, structuring, transactions, and regulatory compliance.

  • Advise on significant Australian Government projects;
  • Support the achievement of Australian Government requirements and objectives;
  • Work across Commonwealth procurement, commercial contracting, intellectual property, and technology matters;
  • Be part of a collaborative and supportive team;
  • Provide corporate advisory services, including corporate law, governance, structuring, transactions, and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Ideally, you will have 1-5 years PAE, preferably in a commercial legal role, with a strong interest in working on Australian Government transactions. You will also need good interpersonal and communication skills to deal with clients and other parties, excellent contract drafting and advice writing skills, and the ability to apply for an AGSVA Baseline clearance.
