
Child Safe Project Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to ensure our readiness to comply with the Child Safe Standards and Reportable Conduct Scheme.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in supporting projects in large diverse organisations, strong conceptual and analytical skills, knowledge of National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and/or Queensland Child Safe Standards best practice, clear understanding of state child protection legislation, excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
The role is instrumental in ensuring we meet our legislated requirements and create a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people across our whole organisation.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Support the completion of reviews and gap analyses across the organisation to inform the improvement activities required for compliance with CSS requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of action plans to embed the CSS across all levels of the organisation.
- Contribute to the coordination of CSS integration into policies, procedures, and practices.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining systems to monitor compliance with the CSS.
- Help identify and coordinate training needs to ensure staff and volunteers are informed about the CSS.
- Assist in developing and implementing plans, timelines, and deliverables to support compliance with the RCS.
- Support the review and update of policies and procedures to ensure alignment with RCS requirements.
