This role offers an opportunity to lead the development and implementation of a research strategy in music and health that responds to community needs.
You will engage with new communities, connecting them with our organization through various programs and initiatives.
- Develop a comprehensive research strategy that addresses community needs.
- Build partnerships with key stakeholders, including First Nations communities, health professionals, educators, and regional partners.
- Lead engagement initiatives that foster collaboration and create measurable impact.
This is a capacity-building appointment designed to strengthen our visibility and reach in music and arts research, creating new opportunities for partnership and collaboration.
About YouAs a leader in music (or the performing arts more broadly), you will be able to move fluidly between research, practice, and community engagement.
Required skills include:
- A doctoral qualification in music (or related field).
- Strong track record in community-engaged, applied, or socially impactful music scholarship.
- Skills in creating engaging, responsive learning experiences.
- Strong communication skills and commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive practice.
- Ability to set priorities, foster collaborations, and generate measurable impact.
