Job Title: Health and Wellness Advisor

Job Overview:

This role involves delivering psychological support services to individuals facing complex barriers to employment, conducting thorough assessments, offering evidence-based interventions, and facilitating groups.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of candidates with diverse disabilities and barriers to employment;
  • Offer therapeutic interventions as needed, utilizing various psychological methodologies;
  • Refer candidates to external support services to address identified barriers;
  • Provide evaluations based on assessments and monitor case progression;
  • Liaise with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of candidates;
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff on psychological services and procedures.
Key Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or Counselling with relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of psychology assessment and intervention strategies;
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and engagement skills;
  • Proven ability to create accurate and articulate case reports;
  • Able to work collaboratively towards generating positive outcomes for clients.
