Finding the right fit for our team requires someone with a keen understanding of software testing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with testing UIs, APIs, automation of downstream systems and related systems integration is essential
  • Proven scripting or programming experience that conforms to good software engineering design principles and practices (including version management) will be highly regarded
  • Practical experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines will also be considered
  • A background in delivering projects as part of an agile team and exposure to DevOps teams, practices and tools will be seen as a major plus
  • We are looking for someone who is eager to learn new technologies and drive innovation
  • Assisting with problems and questions related to software features, functionality, and compliance will be a significant aspect of this role
  • Providing feedback on specifications created by others will also be a key responsibility
  • Making suggestions/contributions for the improvement of software testing/quality will be encouraged
  • Working collaboratively with other automation engineers to create a unified approach to automation across the team will be crucial
  • The ability to architect maintainable and extendable automated test frameworks using Java & Selenium will be highly valued
  • Developing, executing and maintaining automation test scripts, utilities, data sets leveraging commercial and/or open source tools will be a key task

  • A proven track record of success in software testing and quality assurance
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Canberra ACT: reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
  • Work Authorisation: Australia (preferred)
  • Schedule: 8 hour shift
  • Contract length: 10 months
