This is a key role in our finance research support team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective financial management of our research projects.

Responsibilities

  • Review contract agreements to ensure accurate financial data capture in our systems.
  • Manage timely and accurate invoicing and financial reporting in compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Process contract variations, including associated amendments to project records and adjustments to invoicing and financial reporting.
  • Monitor shared inboxes and escalate queries where necessary to ensure timely and customer-focused responses.
  • Support development and maintenance of procedural documentation for all areas of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to accurately capture and process financial data using business systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills for effective collaboration with researchers and other teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a customer service environment.
  • Familiarity with corporate financial software systems.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and work under time constraints to ensure prompt responses to stakeholders.
