**Strategic Finance Lead Position**

This part-time, contract role involves acting as the strategic finance lead for a fast-casual food brand preparing for rapid national growth. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in senior finance roles and experience in franchising, QSR, FMCG, or multi-site retail.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Validating and scaling a national franchise financial model to drive business growth.
  • Developing a board-ready 12-24 month strategic financial roadmap to inform business decisions.
  • Attending board meetings and driving financial accountability through robust reporting and analysis.
  • Cultivating internal finance capabilities to support business operations.
  • Implementing scalable reporting and decision-making tools to enhance business efficiency.
  • Supporting funding, pricing, and capital planning initiatives to drive business growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Financial rigor combined with commercial acumen.
  • Strength in modelling, board reporting, systems, and governance.
  • Ability to coach and develop finance talent to drive business success.
  • Confident, commercially-minded communicator who can effectively engage with founders and boards.
  • CA/CPA qualified or MBA preferred.
  • Proficient in Xero and other cloud-based platforms.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
