Compliance Manager Job

This role is for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliant and high-quality education and care across a network of childcare centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting regular compliance visits and spot checks across all services
  • Monitoring and managing risk, regulatory compliance and quality across services
  • Leading Internal Audits, compliance reviews and quality improvement planning
  • Identifying risks and developing practical strategies to ensure safe, high quality environments
  • SUPPORTING & GUIDING educators to address all areas of compliance including child safety & wellbeing, WHS, Food Safety, & Emergency Management.
  • Overseeing and assessing Educational Program to ensure regulatory and developmental alignment
  • Training and mentoring to upskill educators and improve outcomes
  • Assisting in preparing a service for Assessment and Rating
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care are essential (Diploma minimum)
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (ideal not essential)
  • Detailed working knowledge and application of childcare legislation, regulations and compliance requirements
  • Understanding of the Early Years Learning & Development Framework
  • Compliance experience and previous Assessment & Rating experience in Childcare
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills including the ability to time manage, multi-task, prioritise, produce work of high quality and consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to educate team on compliance and practice
  • Strong Reporting Skills
  • Experience in mentoring & coaching teams to improve practices & compliance
  • Strong Coaching & Mentoring Skills to implement and embed policy & Practice
  • Knowledge of ISS Support
