About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced lawyer to join our legal team at Northrop Consulting Engineers. As an In-House Lawyer, you will play a critical role in providing legal advice and support to our business, with a focus on construction law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice on construction law matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts, and advising on regulatory and compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with our legal team to develop and implement legal strategies that support our business goals.
  • Work closely with our business teams to ensure that legal considerations are integrated into all aspects of our operations.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks, and develop and implement procedures to prevent and respond to legal issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to our staff on legal matters, and develop and implement legal training programs.
Requirements
  • Tertiary law degree and current practicing certificate.
  • At least 2-3 years PQE in construction law.
  • Experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
  • Ability to plan, monitor, and achieve results in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer service.
