About the Role:
You will join a dynamic and innovative company as a Banking and Finance Lawyer at the 8-12 year level, looking to transition into an in-house role as a Senior Legal Counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively advise clients on a range of commercial and industrial property, development, and project matters.
- Supervise a team in the complex and commercial lending division, overseeing asset finance, real property, and commercial transactions.
- Liaise directly with lenders, brokers, and solicitors to provide consistent updates and attend governance meetings to assess and improve services.
- Develop and implement bespoke solutions for complex deals, prioritizing empathy and humility in all interactions.
- Drive revenue growth, mentor junior lawyers, and establish a function that delivers exceptional service to existing and new clients.
Requirements:
- 8-12 years of experience as a Banking and Finance Lawyer.
- Strong relationships-building skills and ability to structure complex documentation.
- Experience with on-line tools and technology to drive efficiency and innovation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
