Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated personal care assistant to join our team at Mercy Health in Colac, Australia.

About this role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to work with residents in a residential setting, delivering exceptional patient-centred care that makes a meaningful difference in people's lives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality resident-focused care utilising a person-centred approach and in accordance with care plans, Aged Care Standards and policies/procedures of the organisation.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care.
  • Work in consultation with other staff to provide relevant and timely information.

The ideal candidate will have excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, as well as a flexible and positive approach. Experience working in aged care is highly regarded.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care.
  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
