About the Role:
As a Servery Staff, you will play a vital role in providing nourishing meals that contribute to the health and well-being of our residents.

About You:

Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or aged care is preferred but not essential.

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness are essential for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life is crucial for this role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with our team and residents.

Ability to work effectively in a team and independently is essential for providing excellent care and service to our residents.

Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence is vital for this role.

Alignment with Anglicare's Christian ethos and values is essential for this role.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is necessary for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation, presentation, and serving of meals to residents.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, dining areas, and food service spaces.

Assist in meal setup, including setting tables and ensuring all utensils and crockery are clean.

Deliver food and beverages to residents in the dining room and, when necessary, to their rooms.

Ensure dietary requirements and preferences are met for each resident.

Collaborate with the broader team to provide holistic support to residents.

Collect, clean, and store dishes and utensils after meals.

Foster a positive and inclusive community atmosphere within the care facility.

Follow health, safety, and food hygiene standards at all times.
