Role Overview

We are seeking an Employment Consultant to join our team at APM's Hurstville site. This is an exciting opportunity to make a powerful impact in your local community by helping people with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities become work-ready and find sustainable employment.

As an Employment Consultant, you will be based at one of our 400+ sites nationally and play a vital role in delivering Employment Services Programs that lift people up and support them in employment, independence, and improved wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source employment opportunities for job seekers
  • Help job seekers identify their skills, abilities, and secure employment
  • Deliver ongoing outstanding customer service to job seekers and employers
  • Increase job seekers' capacity for employment through training and other support services
  • Create and implement a joint job plan with the job seeker to support a clear pathway to employment
  • Build relationships with local employers and community organisations
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
