We are looking for Trainers, Facilitators, Coaches, and Mentors to join our Team to deliver meaningful and purposeful employability skills training across the Sydney East Metro Employment Region.

About the role:
Our Employability Skills Training and Career Transition Assistance programs provide essential job finding skills to Australian Job seekers.
As an Employability Skills Trainer & Facilitator, you will be delivering a targeted course designed to help a diverse range of individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds. Supported by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment, the programs are key drivers in the Federal Government’s initiative to assist Australians whether they are looking to enter or re-enter the workforce or are looking at transitioning into a new career.
As one of the largest providers of the program, Asuria delivers EST and CTA all over Australia. Your role as a Trainer & Facilitator is to ensure that our Participants are building on their employability skills and gaining the motivation and career guidance necessary to secure employment.
About you:
You are a passionate and dedicated classroom Trainer and Facilitator.
You have experience as a Teacher, Trainer, Coach, or Mentor and enjoy supporting people to discover and develop a future career path.

- Has exceptional communication skills, both oral and written with a strong attention to detail
- Able to demonstrate an ability to train and educate groups of adults learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the delivery of training to small groups of adult learners using the provided course structure and materials in line with the requirements of the relevant contractual requirements
- Contextualizing and tailoring training to best suit the Participant’s learning needs
- Ability to effectively use technology in the workplace and coordinate administrative requirements to assist the delivery of training
- Deliver training and assessment in a diverse range of environments including classroom, workplace, and online
- Provide students with individual attention, support and guidance to maximise every learner’s chance of successful completion as required
- Adhering and following to company policies, procedures, and processes
- Liaising and working with Head Office
- Assessing Participant competency levels and compiling feedback reports for Participants
Selection Criteria:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate clearly and engage well with a diverse range of individuals and groups
- Experience delivering training, whether it be as a teacher, coach, or mentor
- Have a Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check clearance (essential)
- TAE40116 is desirable but not essential
- Flexible and willing to travel and undertake training blocks on a short notice
- Ability to deliver training, Face to Face, Online and Hybrid training (face to face and online simultaneously)
- Intermediate technology skills
- Understanding of the local labour market
Depending on the role and region, the position will be on either a casual or permanent basis. Successful applicants will be a part of our Talent Pool, must be available to commit to Training Blocks that run on a 3 consecutive week schedule, and is willing to travel to different sites.
