About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Childcare Operations Director to lead our centre towards excellence in every aspect of operations.

Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage daily centre operations, including staffing, facilities, and community engagement.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and engagement.
  3. Create engaging, age-appropriate activities for children's holistic development, aligning with curriculum requirements.
  4. Prioritise children's safety and well-being, adhering to policies and procedures, and conducting regular risk assessments.
  5. Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes.
  6. Cultivate a positive, inclusive culture that values teamwork, diversity, and innovation.
About You
  • ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including experience in a leadership role.
  • A current Working with Blue card, and willingness to maintain clearance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team, manage priorities effectively, and make informed decisions.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in early childhood education.
