Childcare Director

This leadership position is responsible for the overall management and operation of a childcare centre.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to motivate and inspire their team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Centre Operations: Manage daily centre operations including staffing, budgets and communication with parents.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and support educators through coaching, mentoring and professional growth.
- Activity Planning: Design engaging activities for children's holistic development.
- Safety and Compliance: Prioritise children's safety and well-being, adhering to policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Culture Development: Cultivate a positive culture that values teamwork and diversity.
Requirements:
- AACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including leadership role.
- Current Working with Blue card.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative working style and effective priority management.
- Ongoing professional development commitment.
