Job Overview

ENGINEERINGUK is seeking a seasoned Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to lead our technical team at our Sunshine West Delivery Station.

This role involves supervising and motivating Maintenance Technicians, delivering Preventive Maintenance programs, and promoting safe working practices across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Safely supervise and lead Maintenance Technicians in carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance activities.
  2. Develop and implement effective Preventive Maintenance programs to ensure smooth facility operation.
  3. Promote safety awareness within the team and across the site.
  4. Manage maintenance-related purchase orders and inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for maintenance activities.
  5. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot facility systems, including power distribution, automated material handling equipment, conveyance, and operational equipment.
Basic Qualifications
  1. Formal trade qualifications: Cert III In Electrotechnology
  2. Industrial maintenance electrical experience with an Electrical license
  3. Leadership experience in supervising multi-trade teams in a fast-paced industrial environment
  4. Mentoring and developing technicians
  5. Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments
  6. Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks
  7. Contractor management experience
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Automation and conveyor systems experience
  2. Electrical and electronic principles, preventative maintenance procedures, blueprint reading, industrial controls, industrial electronics, PLC programming, work order management
  3. Multi-contractor management experience
  4. Statutory compliance requirements knowledge
