We are seeking a highly skilled Taxation Specialist to join our team at DuluxGroup. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our tax compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of income tax returns for Australia and New Zealand, including maintenance of workpapers, schedules, and file notes.
  • Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax returns and analytics for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring compliance obligations are met.
  • Preparation of Research and Development tax offset claims.
  • Ensuring tax payments and lodgments are made by due date, including income tax instalment and withholding tax.
  • General consulting and advisory services, including drafting technical position papers.

Requirements

  • Degree and CA/CPA qualified.
  • Experience in a professional accounting firm or in-house corporate tax unit.
  • Strong tax knowledge, particularly in income tax and fringe benefits tax.
  • Competent in technical and practical accounting, with a strong focus on tax effect accounting.
