IT Field Services Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Field Services Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide on-the-ground IT support at a remote coal mine site in Queensland.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a customer-first mindset, be proactive and hands-on, and have excellent technical skills. They will work closely with the team to deliver seamless functioning of desktop, network, and peripheral technologies.

This is a FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) role operating on a structured roster. The candidate will be required to travel extensively and work in various environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis
  • Familiarity with hardware and software systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of network setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and other tools used for providing off-site support
