Early Childhood Educator Trainee Position

The Early Childhood Educator Trainee position is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to embark on a career in early childhood education and care. This role involves working with children, families, and the centre team to provide high-quality educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of young learners.

  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, families, and colleagues
  • Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart policies, procedures, and requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children and families through effective communication and active listening
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of engaging educational programs in the room and across the centre
  • Support a culture of reflective practice, continuous improvement, and professional growth within the centre team
Eligibility and Requirements

To be eligible for this traineeship, applicants must not hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school within the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based certificate other than in childcare may still be eligible. The successful candidate will possess:

  • A willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
  • A permanent right to work in Australia
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude towards early childhood education and care
