Job Description

Job Title: Service Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to oversee the delivery of exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of service professionals, ensuring that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely and efficient manner, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Manage technical services staff, ensuring they are attending to their daily tasks and meeting their agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Service Delivery: Manage and oversee service delivery in-house or on-site, providing technical and service support to partners and end-users.
  • Customer Support: Manage customer technical needs, overseeing service agents' activities, spare parts inventory control, and liaising with suppliers on technical and strategic service issues.
  • Warranty and Spare Parts: Manage warranty spare parts credit approval and oversee the overall service activities and services provided.
  • Process Improvement: Review and analyze internal service processes, providing strategic advice on service and warranty programs, and budget preparation, tracking, and targets.
  • Team Development: Manage ongoing team training requirements and certification in accordance with Japanese KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Management Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage internal and external personnel.
  • Technical Knowledge: Degree or similar in technical fields or relevant commercial or practical experience, with relevant knowledge of electrical circuitry and/or relevant certifications for working with 120+ volts.
  • Experience: 2+ years wide-format printer experience and 5+ years of experience in a service management role.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
