Job Description:

The role of the Nutrition Specialist will involve delivering evidence-based, high-quality care to patients, outpatients and staff in a hospital setting.

  • Deliver high quality patient-centred care to adults and children
  • Develop and implement effective clinical services and drive continuous quality improvement
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary collaboration through ward rounds, case conferences, and professional development forums
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligible for full membership of Dietitians Australia
  • Up-to-date knowledge and skills in nutrition and dietetic practice including paediatrics
  • Current experience as a clinical dietitian with post graduate experience in a hospital setting
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team and independently while managing a high-paced workload
  • High level computer skills in a variety of applications and experience with dietary software systems
