Product Strategy Role

This pivotal role defines, plans, and monitors key drivers for product success. It encompasses organic and inorganic growth, ultimately shaping the product strategy.

The Product Strategy Manager coordinates inputs into the product roadmap selection process, including detailed product development business cases. This involves documenting supporting knowledge, such as the product's vision, target markets, customer segmentation, competitive landscape, end-to-end offering definition, profit model, pricing, brand objectives, and execution capabilities required to achieve business objectives.

The PSM collaborates across departments, with clients, and industry groups, serving as the internal and external evangelist for the product. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with a keen interest in technology and business problems. Regular reporting and presenting to senior management are also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement product strategies that drive growth and profitability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather market intelligence and customer feedback.
  • Analyze data to inform product decisions and optimize product offerings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in management consulting at MBB or Top Tier Consulting firms.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in strategic and product leadership roles, preferably within global technology or SaaS/Software businesses.
  • A strong understanding of technology and business trends is essential.
