Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Aviation Security Officer to provide a security presence at Gladstone airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for passenger and baggage screening services, managing traffic flow, and liaising with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide passenger and baggage screening services;
  • Manage traffic flow and screening at security checkpoints;
  • Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders;
  • Complete incident reports as required;
  • Respond professionally, courteously, and promptly to all stakeholder enquiries.

Requirements

  • Certificate II in Security Operations;
  • Certificate II in Transport Security Protection;
  • QLD Security Licence;
  • ASIC clearance;
  • Full working rights in Australia;
  • Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screening;
  • Flexibility in working hours;
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
