Retail Sales Associate Position

The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better.
We are looking for a skilled sales associate to support the store manager with day-to-day operations and provide an excellent in-store experience for our team, customers, and community members.
You will assist with:
- Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices;
- Collecting, sorting, and pricing donations in store;
- Assisting in the development and coordination of visual merchandising and store presentation;
- Providing exceptional Customer Service;
- Displaying stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure;
- Following Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures;
Previous experience in retail sales is not essential. What is essential is your passion and proven ability to deliver outstanding results in a complex and rewarding retail environment.
Key requirements include:
- High energy, hands-on individual;
- Proven track record in providing extraordinary customer service;
- Integrity and ability to align with The Salvation Army Mission and Values;
- Flexibility to work a rolling roster including weekends and preparedness to work across various locations in the retail area;
- Strong interpersonal skills and solid technical skills.
