Agile Transformation Lead

The Agile Transformation Lead will drive the implementation and maturation of a major Programme's transition to Agile development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide Agile training, mentoring and coaching to existing and new Programme staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to work effectively in an Agile environment.
  • Create metrics to measure Agile maturity and provide regular reporting and monitoring against these metrics.
  • Assist with the management of the PI Planning process, including Product Governance Forums and provision of relevant reporting and documentation to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide the Agile implementation to improve the ART's workflow, ensuring work flows towards delivery.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and provide business continuity support to the Programme.
Essential Criteria:
  • Proven experience in Australian Federal Government program and project management using Agile methodology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across all levels.
  • SAFe 6.0 Certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Agile Product Delivery is essential.
  • At least 5+ years of experience and hands-on expertise in information technology project team management.
  • Agile coaching or Enterprise coaching certification is preferred.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring teams and leaders to achieve results is crucial.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality training courses is essential.
