We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Service Line Director - Sustainability to lead our National Sustainability business. As a key member of our national leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a service line strategy that directly supports the ACOR Strategy.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop a comprehensive service line strategy implementation plan that aligns with the ACOR Strategy.
- Collaborate with other service lines and leaders to manage pipeline, ensure sufficient capability and capacity, and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
- Match service line capability to forecast workload, balancing utilisation and recovery within an acceptable range.
- Develop and build consulting and technical capability in the service line to meet short and long-term business needs.
- Create and manage strategic resource plans, including succession planning, development planning, recruitment planning, and capability/capacity planning.
- Represent ACOR as a leader in the delivery of sustainability services in the marketplace.
- Work closely with our Corporate Sustainability Leader on internal sustainability initiatives.
About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
- Demonstrable experience leading teams and extensive design experience within an engineering consultancy or associated industry.
- Relevant formal qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution.
- A proven track record of project excellence and strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent understanding of Green Star and NABERS requirements and emerging trends in Environmental Sustainability Design (ESD).
- Strong leadership qualities with proven ability to work collaboratively and mentor others.
- The ability to communicate effectively on a technical and project level with clients, staff, and management.
