Senior Mining Engineer Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mining Engineer to join our technical consulting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing site support across Australia through secondment-style assignments with reputable clients.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and experience in mining engineering, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.

The role will involve stepping into key site-based roles covering planning, production, infrastructure and project engineering, working to standard Australian rosters (FIFO/DIDO). The opportunity to gain international experience may also arise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to clients across various sites in Australia
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to meet client needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve project goals
Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in mining engineering
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Deswik CAD and Deswik Sched

About You:

You are an experienced engineer who is technically competent, independent, self-directed, client-oriented, comfortable operating across short-term, medium-term and strategic mine planning, experienced with Deswik CAD and Deswik Sched, backed by solid practical experience on operational sites, a believer in strong safety culture and professional integrity, legally able to work in Australia, and preferably hold an FCMMC ticket.
