Job Opportunity

A highly sought-after role has emerged for an HSE Specialist to lead our Safety initiatives in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving a robust safety culture, ensuring compliance with legislation, standards, codes of practice, and ISO Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure a safe working environment and adherence to Service Stream HSE requirements.
  • Lead by example, model the Service Stream Safety Value, and act consistently with company safety rules and regulations.
  • Engage stakeholders in consultation, communication, and collaboration processes, encouraging people to report and discuss HSE matters.
  • Maintain a high field-based presence, verifying safety processes and controls, and conducting inspections and interactions.
  • Implement the Service Stream Group HSE Framework and align project-specific HSE documentation, materials, and resources.
  • Investigate event incidents, identifying learning opportunities and corrective actions.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate and possess:

  • Desirable: A candidate with experience in a similar HSE leadership role within infrastructure maintenance, construction, civil works, or mining industries.
  • Working knowledge of legislation, standards, codes of practice, and ISO Standards.
  • Strong communication skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Programs.
Required Qualifications
  • A relevant qualification in WHS/Environment.
  • Valid current Australian Full Driver's Licence.
  • (Return to Work training).
  • Desirable - Incident Investigation Qualification.
