Your Role

We are seeking a Strategic Technology Leader who can operate across multiple domains, providing strategic direction and governance. As a key member of our technology delivery team, you will work with various stakeholders from the business and technology teams, representing our Growth and Product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and set overarching technical direction for our digital products and emerging MarTech stack.
  • Ensure alignment with our target architecture and defined transition states.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for the domain.
  • Collaborate with engineering leads, technical product owners, and partners on solution designs.
  • Engage with key partners to understand their architectural roadmap, integration patterns, and capabilities.
  • Document reusable design patterns.
  • Define non-functional requirements and ensure they are satisfied.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
  • Work with the Principal Architect and other domains to enhance Architecture capability across the bank.
  • Manage technical debt by identifying, recording, socializing, and addressing domain risks and gaps.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Strategic Technology Leader with experience in Banking domain and a passion for design.
  • Strong experience in Core banking or payment systems or credit cards domain.
  • Experience working as a trusted business advisor and technical guide.
  • Deep technical experience in Software Engineering and programming with a good understanding of the overall technology landscape.
  • Experience working in a security-first and APRA regulated environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment delivering solutions in cloud, working on digital channels.
  • Expertise in modern Architecture practices.
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Information Systems.
