About the Role
This is a critical position that requires a skilled project engineer to provide technical and engineering support to the project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects meet their objectives, are completed efficiently, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver capital works projects with precision and attention to detail
- Plan and coordinate resources to meet project deadlines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including HSEQ records
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks
- Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems
- Manage project finances and contracts to ensure compliance
About You
- Hold an engineering degree in a relevant field or be studying towards one
- Have previous project engineering experience in a similar industry
- Be able to prepare and maintain project quality records to client requirements
- Have experience working with design consultants or managing projects
- Understand project management methodologies, such as PMBOK
- Have knowledge of utility-based construction
