Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strings Teacher to provide individualized instruction to students at our campus.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will possess relevant qualifications and experience as an instrumental music educator, with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Key responsibilities include providing tuition to students from preliminary to VCE level, supporting the Music teacher with the Year 2 strings program, and potentially leading the Strings Coordinator role.
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated passion for delivering high-quality music education
- Ability to create a positive learning environment through effective teaching practices and relationships
- Experience preparing students for AMEB and VCE exams (essential)
- Experience directing strings orchestra and/or quartet (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
