We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Karratha, Western Australia.
- The successful candidate will perform maintenance, inspections, and certifications on turbine engine aeroplanes in compliance with CASA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with and maintain an understanding of the procedures contained within relevant manuals;
- Ensure adherence to policies and instructions published by the Company;
- Contribute to a zero harm environment through active participation in all safety programs relevant to the position;
- Report safety related matters in accordance with the Safety Management System (SMS) and make appropriate recommendations to improve safety, productivity and efficiency;
- Supervise unqualified maintenance personnel;
- Ensure accurate completion of aircraft related certification paperwork within Company and CASA deadlines;
- Perform diagnostic and mechanical duties on one or more aircraft models involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, installation, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems;
- Certify for maintenance activities within delegated authority;
- Observe and comply with all standards and procedures contained within the Civil Aviation Safety Authority Regulations;
- Ensure maintenance and repairs are carried out to a high standard, ensuring integrity and robustness of aircraft to meet operational requirements;
- Participate in aircraft recovery when necessary;
- Service and clean hangar, tools and ground equipment as directed.
Requirements:
- Hold a CASA Part 66 B1 License;
- Type rated on a Citation 560 with a JT15 Series;
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role;
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills;
- Strong written, verbal and communication skills.
