About the BusinessOperating since 2004, KORR has become a trusted name in the aerospace industry, delivering high quality services across engineering and maintenance.We specialise in sourcing and supplying highly skilled aviation professionals to deliver expert aircraft workforces that support commercial, corporate and military clients.Our commitment is to provide the aviation industry with world-class workforce solutions.About the RoleAs an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will primarily be responsible for supporting and assisting Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and performing maintenance tasks under supervision.Main tasks and duties of the role will include, but are not limited to:Assisting in performing aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with approved data and under the guidance of licensed engineers and in line with company proceduresReporting any significant aircraft defects to the supervising LAME Participating in business improvement initiatives by contributing suggestions or supporting implementation as directed Organising and completing assigned maintenance tasks efficiently and under LAME supervisionApplying developing technical knowledge to assist LAMEs with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or electrical issuesWorking efficiently within the maintenance team, following directions from senior technicians and LAMEs in a careful mannerAssisting LAMEs and senior technicians with investigations of aircraft incidents or maintenance issues, contributing to implementing corrective actions where appropriate At all times, following the instructions and safety guidelines provided by LAMEs and supervisorsAttending regularly scheduled training sessions to become familiar with internal procedures and regulatory standardsQualifications and ExperienceCertificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent 5+ years' experience in Mechanical in a Line or Base Maintenance environmentExperience working within a Safety Management SystemAbility to communicate effectively at all levelsProven organisational and problem-solving skillsBasic computer literacyCustomer focusedDemonstrated knowledge of PART 145 regulatory frameworkResourceful and lateral thinking
