
Procurement Specialist

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our organization and contribute to the success of our procurement activities.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with agreements.
- Analyze market trends and forecasts to make informed purchasing decisions and mitigate risks.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure adequate supply of materials and products.
- Track purchasing metrics and expenses to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is required.
Key Qualifications:- A minimum of ten years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Previous experience in a leadership position is preferred.
- Superior negotiation and communication skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and contracts.
- Proficient in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team and drive procurement initiatives.
