Emergency Medicine Leadership Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Physician to lead our Emergency Services Team in providing exceptional patient care.

In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality patient outcomes while promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and kindness.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding results.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the department meets all accreditation standards and provides advanced and general basic training to both Emergency and GP trainees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Led the Emergency Services Team to deliver high-quality patient care and promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and kindness
  • Developed and implemented strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall patient experience
  • Mentored, taught, and supported the clinical development of Medical Officers and other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding results and promote a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Highly skilled and experienced Emergency Physician with strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding results
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, safety, and excellence in patient care
  • Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine or a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration in Emergency Medicine or General Practice
