Job Title: High Voltage Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced High Voltage Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Operations Services group, you will be responsible for providing high voltage electrical technical support by performing inspection, maintenance and repair for a range of HV electrical assets and systems across the state.

About the Role

  • Perform routine maintenance activities on high voltage electrical assets and systems.
  • Conduct inspections, coordinate or witness testing, such as factory acceptance testing, commissioning, and site acceptance testing.
  • Prepare comprehensive progress reports.
  • Assist with investigations of HV electrical assets and systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults and issues.
  • Provide technical advice on the analysis of HV electrical faults, failures and asset health.
  • Participate in complex diagnostic and functional testing on HV protection assets and electronic control equipment.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • WA Electrical workers licence.
  • Nationally accredited HV switching operator qualification UET12 and UEP12.
  • Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical assets.
  • Experience testing, commissioning and maintaining HV electrical infrastructure assets.
  • A current driver's licence is mandatory.
