High Voltage Asset Maintenance Expert

This permanent position involves providing technical support by performing inspections, maintenance and repairs for high voltage electrical assets and systems across the state.
The role is based in our Perth office and will involve working with our Operations Services team to ensure the efficient operation of HV electrical infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing maintenance activities on high voltage electrical assets and systems
- Conducting inspection and testing, commissioning, and site acceptance testing
- Preparing comprehensive progress reports and defect reports
- Assisting with investigations of HV electrical assets and systems
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults and issues
- Providing technical advice on analysis of HV electrical faults, failures and asset health
The ideal candidate will have a WA Electrical Workers Licence and nationally accredited HV switching operator qualification UET12 and UEP12. They will also have experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical assets as well as testing, commissioning and maintaining HV electrical infrastructure assets.
The successful applicant will be offered a competitive remuneration package including base salary, annual allowances, superannuation, overtime as applicable, and flexible work options including a 9-day fortnight and flexible hours.
Additional benefits include two wellbeing days each year, long service leave pro rata after three years of service, generous co-contribution superannuation up to 16%, purchase additional leave of up to 12 weeks or extended paid leave options, and access to additional benefits to support diverse lifestyles.
