Customer Service Representative

This role is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants only. The initiative aims to increase the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people employed in the Australian Public Service, reflecting the community's diversity.

We seek passionate, client-focused individuals for our Frontline Operations group.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will work in a scheduled contact centre environment, providing high-quality service to clients between 7am and 7pm.

You will spend your time interacting with clients over the phone, supporting them in meeting their tax, superannuation, and registration obligations. You'll process account activities received through various channels, including phone, paper, web-chat, email, and online portals.

You will apply relevant policies and procedures to inform your decision-making, ensuring accuracy in recording outcomes, actions, and agreements.

You will be responsive and adaptable to changing client and business needs, managing competing priorities to deliver outcomes. You'll work collaboratively as part of a team, sharing knowledge to resolve issues and contribute to continuous improvement.

The roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in multiple locations across Australia. A merit pool may be formed to fill future similar vacancies within these locations and other areas.
