Heavy Machinery Technician

This role is for a skilled Heavy Machinery Technician to join our team.

We are seeking an experienced technician to work on an underground hard rock mobile plant fleet, performing scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Sandvik equipment, including Development Drills, Production Drills, Trucks and Loaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to fleet of Sandvik equipment
  • Fault finding repairing and/or replacing components as required
  • Maintain plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and site requirements

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working on underground hard rock mobile plant is essential
  • A Trade Certificate as a Diesel Fitter/Diesel Mechanic
  • Auto electrical knowledge is desired
  • Valid manual drivers licence
  • National Police clearance within last 6 months advantageous
  • A positive work ethic and attitude in keeping with Redpath's motto, Consider it done — safely.
