System Upgrade Lead Position

As a key member of our organization, you will spearhead the technical delivery of complex system upgrades while providing oversight of both technical personnel and integrated logistic support activities.

This dynamic role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and experience in managing sophisticated system integration projects.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of analyzing and solving difficult problems involving multiple variables across various functions and specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement technical plans for major system upgrades, including specifications, interface requirements, and integration strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with defence certification requirements by developing and implementing security accreditation artifacts.
  • Guide complex system integration activities, including hardware modifications and interface management.
  • Oversee verification testing, site surveys, and transition planning across multiple locations.
  • Lead integrated project teams, ensuring coordination between engineering implementation and supportability requirements.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors to ensure effective integration of their COTS solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline, such as engineering or computer science.
  • Proven experience in technical leadership roles managing complex system integration projects.
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems involving multiple variables.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience in external customer and vendor relationships.
  • Experience in developing and executing operational plans with measurable contributions to functional outcomes.
