Job Title: Program Manager

Establish and manage a technology upgrade program in partnership with business areas and product managers.

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the technology upgrade program, ensuring the delivery of upgrades and facilitating discussions on integrated system software compatibility issues.
  • Manage and deliver all related program and project management activities and products using PRINCE2 and MSP methodologies to achieve objectives and outcomes within budget and on time.
  • Consult and negotiate with clients, senior management, suppliers, other public sector agencies, and key stakeholders on best practice initiatives and service delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver strategic technology upgrades that meet business requirements and drive innovation. Develop and implement effective program management strategies to ensure successful project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the public sector and complex government departments.
  • Proven track record of delivering programs and projects using multiple methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders for negotiation, consultation, and decision-making purposes.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams and vendors to deliver required outcomes within agreed timeframes and budget.

Successful candidates will possess excellent leadership and project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. They will also have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
